Cedar Pergola configurable from 10′ wide x 10′ long to as large as 16′ wide x 16′ long. Designed with (4) posts with a flat canopy top using a double board header. This robust package includes all the pre-stained wood, hardware, and fasteners needed to build your beautiful Pergola.

WOOD SPECIES - Incense Cedar (red cedar with beautiful color marbling)
WOOD SIZE (actual) - is 1/2" inch smaller both ways: for example a 6x6 is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" actual size
POSTS & KNEE BRACE SIZES (options) - 4x4, 6x6 (most popular) & 8x8 (post & knee brace are always the same size)
HEADER SIZE - level 1 (options) - 2x6, 2x8 (most popular), 2x10. This is a double board header.
HEADER SIZE - level 2 (options) - 2x4, 2x6 (most popular), 2x8. Always spaced at 2' on center.
SHADE SIZE (options) - 2x2 (full sawn), 2x3 (most popular), 2x4
SHADE ON CENTER SPACING (options) - 6" oc, 9" oc (most popular), 12" oc
PRE-FABRICATION OF SHADE CANOPY - we are pre-assembling level 2 header with the shade material for an "easy to install" (3) panel installation. (see diagram of how the shade panel works)
FASTENER FOR KNEE BRACES - 8" to 10" with hex nuts FASTENERS FOR LEVEL 1 HEADER - 3.5" with hex nuts
FASTENERS FOR LEVEL 2 HEADERS/SHADE PANEL to LEVEL1 HEADER - simpson angle brackets with 1.5" fastener sat each level 2 location on both sides of level 1 header
FASTENERS FOR SHADE WOOD LEADING EDGE - 4" or 5" or 6" depending on what board is chosen FASTENER TO ANCHOR BASE - simpson
FASTENERS FOR ATTACHING HARDWARE - simpson 3.5" screws with hexnuts
FASTENERS FOR ANCHORING BASE -TITAN concrete screw (5/8"x4"-6")
HARDWARE STYLE (options) - simpson outdoor Avante or Mission style or choose no hardware at all
STAIN & COLOR (options) - ReadySeal brand, oil base, translucent, flat finish (no sheen). 8 colors to choose from (see color chart). The extra stain is delivered with package for touch ups.
PRE-CUT WOOD:
all material is pre-cut to lengths including the angle cuts on the knee braces. Posts are left long for person height flexibility.
PRE-BUILT SHADE CANOPY:
shade canopy is prebuilt for a quick and easy to install experience. (see diagram)
PRE-STAINED WOOD:
ReadySeal stain oil based stain with 8 colors to choose from (see color chart image).
FASTENERS:
We supply a variety of self tapping fasteners. (see specs for details)

Simple set of plans and material take-off documents are included for pergola installation.
